My experience is vast due to many years in sport and the training that came with it. I first started at Trueform as a client back in my football days (I played both at the high school level in Edmonton and at the University level in Saskatoon). This is what spawned my love for fitness and exercise, and why I decided to pursue a personal training diploma at NAIT. It has aloud me to progress and transform my own training from sport specific strength and power to an endurance based program for triathlon events.
For myself my favourite style is a strength circuit. This is where my roots in exercise are and will always be my favourite! A good full body strength circuit is my go-to in the gym. That’s being said, I am always looking to push myself to try something new and exciting!
My philosophy for training is simple. Have fun in whatever training you’re doing! For me that is key to success! Enjoyment is what will keep you on track and always wanting and pushing for more!
While I like to train with my clients whose goals range from corrective, sports performance, physique, functions and general health and of all ages, I try to make our time enjoyable, high energy and productive as I can. A few laughs along the way always makes that goal (whatever it may be) that much easier and enjoyable to reach!

Valerie Dennis, an inspiring Trueform client, summited Huayna Picchu this past spring at 70 years young, in an effort to visit what she describes as “absolutely out of this world” Machu Picchu on her decent.
